Love this shot!
I love his face up so much! I have an apollo too, and I've been trying to give him sort of a darker face-up, but I don't use paint so it's a bit hard. Do you have any suggestions?

I've never not used paint, but if you've got something to use in it's place you should be fine. It's actually very easy. But if you're only needing it for eyebrows then chalk pencils have worked for me before. It's a bit harder for eyelashes but it's much easier to get eyeliner with that. I miss my chalk pencils D8 Paint isn't very hard to use though, when thinned out properly.

Other than that, the lips can be hard. I don't know if you like this look, but I often choose one color for the lips and then add a darker color to the middle of the bottom and top lip. Usually for this particular doll, I use purple and black. Adding a darker, but still skin tone color to the sides of the face (but not the cheeks)) can give him a darker and possibly more 'manly' look. And, I highly suggest angry eyebrows, because they look very attractive when done well.
